A series of knitted samples that explore the relationship of the female body to esotericism, through the juxtaposed themes of Fragility vs. Strength and Constriction vs. Disembodiment. The palette and textures of the samples suggest the tones and graininess of early photography and the interplay of light and shade to create phantasmagoric effects.
